(Washington, D.C.) – Congressman Wally Herger (R-CA) wants to provide as much access as possible to residents of CA-02 who want to review the House Majority’s massive health care overhaul. He will be providing libraries in Butte, Shasta, Sutter, and Siskiyou counties with a copy of the legislation for public review. In addition, Congressman Herger will have a copy of the bill at both his Redding and Chico offices. After weeks of closed doors meetings inside the Capitol, Speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled the 1,990 plan for government-run health care on the steps outside the U.S. Capitol last week, with a vote on final passage expected in the week ahead. As Congress considers this massive legislation to put the government in charge of America’s health care system, Congressman Herger believes that all Northern Californians should have access to learn about the legislation and how it will affect them.
